| This roof detail photo shows the method he used to cover the edge of the roof, which is nearly a foot thick and the manner of covering the sides of the dormers. The hooks that hold the slates in place are visible on the lower edge of each slate. Since Heidi and Clark have installed the thick insulation between the sub-roof.and the slates in their house, a couple other new roof installations have used the same system. | ||||||||
