| In the summer of 2009 the Loft became usable. As a matter of record, Heidi and Clark moved from the gîte they had rented every summer since 2006 and moved in to camp out on June 26. (That date obtained further significance a year later.) Although there were still things to finish and furniture to buy, the friends and family could gather at the makeshift dining table and eat sumptious meals cooked on the stove and in the oven in the IKEA kitchen. | ||||||||
